How can I prepare for NEET 2020/2021 now?
Well according to me you can and you will crack NEET 2020, if you're discipline enough to follow below points.
So here I'm writing some point on the basis of my personal experience..
- Stop daydreaming - Daydreaming will lead you nowhere. I repeat nowhere. So stop daydream and act. You must be daydreaming about your future college, friends and other stuffs. Instead of that imagine your result day and you didn't get good marks so that you can't live your "daydream". See daydreaming is natural. Even I used to do a lot and I still do but for little. Because I know it's result. So stop daydreaming and start studying.
- Stay away from social media- Yes! One of the major cause of our failure is Social media. Just Instagram, snapchat. Fb and everything ( you can use quora for some time maybe). Seeing your friends enjoying their life with new college and friends will make you jealous and your concentration will break. There are so many reasons to quit social media, maybe i can write a long new answer about it:-D
- Keep distance from your relative or from toxic people- In my case, my relatives are super duper toxic. They used to taunt me, tease me, insult me in a front of everyone just to make me feel bad. I'm from engineer family so they want me to do engineering. But who cares. I don't give them a damn. So stay away from such people.
- Make good and colourful notes- Use colour pens to look your notes more attractive and easy to remember. Mind maps and diagram can help you to connect, create visual representation of ideas, concept and their interconnection. Which may be easier to remember & recall during an exam. This is how my ncert looks.
Make a proper timetable - you've 5 months till now
if you started studying now then you'll complete your portion till jan end (because some chapters are really easy and short yo to remember). So You can easily complete your syllabus. Maybe you can revise it for more than 2 times in such long period.
- Do ncert sincerely- we all know ncert is our bhagwat geeta, bible, kuraan everything. Do ncert at least for biology and chemistry. For bio you don't have to read anything else except ncert. Approx 85% questions are from ncert. This year 77-78 ques are directly ask from ncert., 6 are indirectly ask from ncert and rest 4-5 questions are from outside (approximately).
So stick to ncert. - Revise- Revision is the key of success. You have to revise everything any how. There's no other way. Revision not in last few months but every day. Try to memories with open eyes and closed book.
- Don't search for motivation, create one - well don't waste your valuable time watching motivational video. See the the thing is, little did we all know what good for us and what should we do. We all know how to make plan but.. But.. We don't follow that plan regularly, that's main problem. So stop searching for ideas and motivation. Just be in discipline. Discipline is more important than motivation according to me.
- Solve question paper- If you want admission then you've to do it. Once you done with your syllabus, start solving last 30 year question papers. And then analyse it.
- Teach what you studied- one of the best way to determine whether you understand something is to teach it or explain it to someone else. This will help highlight gaps in your understanding too. I used to teach everyone Neutral control an coordination chapter. It helps me too.
- Get some exercise - Do exercise for 30 min daily.
Due to exercise, oxygen will increase and blood flow to the brain will also increase and it will boost your memory and brain ability to retain new information. - Get enough break- sleep for minimum 6 hours. Sleep allows your brain to convert short term memories into long term memories. Also don't study for more than 30 min at a time and take small 5-10 min break. Regular break not only give your brain a chance to absorb what you've been concentrating on, but also to help keep you focused and motivated.
